Nazim transferred to house arrest
As many discrepancies In the case against former Defence Minister Mohamed Nazim gets revealed, he was transferred to house arrest.

The criminal court made the order while Nazim also requested for it. The criminal court issued the order while the court concluded presenting the testimonies of the witnesses against Nazim.

State had provided another witness during Tuesday night's trial hearing, however defense attorney's were able to recognize the witness who was supposed to be anonymous.

The trial hearing started around 11:00pm on Wednesday night and concluded around 4:00pm. Another hearing is set to take place around 10:00pm on Thursday morning.

Nazim was arrested on February 10th, following a raid at his residence in January which saw the confiscation of a pistol along with three bullets and an IED. Court had previously ordered to detain Nazim until the end of is trial a theDhoonidhoo Detention Facility.
