‘Dhiraagu Porovides 3G Broadband Service  to 21 islands
Further to the announcement made early this year by Dhiraagu to provide broadband coverage to all islands before end of 2015 , Dhiraagu 3G Broadband service has been provided to additional 21 islands.

They are AA Thoddoo, AA himendhoo, Adh. Dhigurah, Baa Goidhoo, Baa Hithaadhoo, Dhaalu Maaenboodhoo, Dhaalu Hulhudheli, Faafu Bileiydhoo, HA Vashafaru, HDH Finey, Hdh NeykurendhooK Dhiffushi, M Raiymandhoo, M Dhiggaru, Raa Maakurathu, Sh Bileiyfahi, Sh Narudhoo, Th Kandoodhoo, Th Burunee, Vaavu Rakeedhoo, and Vaavu Fulidhoo.



Dhiraagu says they are confident that these latest additions to Dhiraagu 3G broadband network will mean further convenience and benefits to the residents of these islands.

Dhiraagu has reaffirmed Dhiraagu’s commitment to provide broadband service to all islands before end of 2015.

Commenting on the project work, Director Networks, Mohamed Musad who is leading the project stated “This is the most important project for the year and all works are being carried out at expedited speeds, as a result we have already launched services in 21 islands since beginning of this year. We have now completed over 25% of the project work and we are certain to complete the full project before end of the year”.

Dhiraagu has the largest 3G / 4G LTE Network in the Maldives providing mobile broadband connectivity to over 96% of the population.
