Former STO Managing Director, Adam Azim has said that the people should come out and say not the agenda to lead 50000 people to poverty by tyrannizing Gasim Ibrahim, the leader of the Jumhooree Party.
Adam Azim made this remark speaking at the public rally entitled “Maldivians against Tyranny.”
He said that Gasim Ibrahim is one of the most popular leader and philanthropist in the Maldives and oppressing him is equal to oppressing the people.
Adam Azim also noted that the government in the past one and half years have been always signing MOUs but have not brought any investments.
He said that the government also stopped all previous investments. “Today what we are seeing is the government trying to destroy the investments of Gasim Ibrahim,” he said.
