Hoarafushi constituency MP Ahmed Rasheed has said that the whole world is making fun of how the laws are amended in the Maldives.
Speaking at the protest held in front of City council against the amendment brought the parole bill, Ahmed Rasheed said that bringing articles to parole bill in order to arrest political opponents can do nothing.
He said that the Green Constitution was passed with the people having to come out to the streets to pass the articles.
He said that today history repeats and today the people have to come out to the streets to pass beneficial laws and amendments to the laws.
In addition to that, Hoarafushi MP said that the people will bring an end to the current government if the government persists in their tyranny.
