Adhaalath Party President Imran Abdulla has said that the government wants to imprison Galolhu Dhekunu constituency MP Ahmed Mahloof on the charges of democracy but they are unable to do that for now because the people at PG does not agree with it.
Sheikh Imran said that the government is not only oppressing Mahloof but also is terrorizing his wife and family members.
He said that the Friday night’s attacks on Mahloof and his wife by the Police shows how much the tyranny of the current government has escalated.
Sheikh Imran said that the government is plotting to issue a court verdict on Mahloof while keeping him detained in Dhoonidhoo detention facility.
In addition to this, Sheikh Imran called all the people of Maldives to stand up against the tyranny of the current government and to work hard to bring an end to the oppression.
