Adhaalath Party President, Sheikh Imran Abdulla has said that leaders from the people will keep on coming against tyranny of the current despotical government of Maldives.
Sheikh Imran said that the people are not coming out against their own elected government not because they want it but because they are forced to do it because of the oppression from the government.
He said that if the government understands the pleas of the people or even gives any regards to the sufferings of the people the government would have initiated to hold talks to resolve the issues. However, he said that the current government is doing the mere opposite of it and are imprisoning one leader after the other from the people.
He said that the people will not be intimidated with these fear mongering tactics of the government. He said that the people will use their right to freedom of speech and freedom of assembly which is granted to them by the constitution.
