Deputy leader of the Jumhooree Party, Ameen Ibrahim has said that the Leader of the Jumhooree Party, Gasim Ibrahim is silent for the sake of thousands of people of Maldives.
Ameen Ibrahim made this remark speaking at the “Maldives against tyranny” rally held on Sunday night.
He said that he is defending the rights of thousands who were employed by him, as well as receive some form of aid provided by him.
“He is very concerned regarding the damages that the government might give to those thousands of people,” he said.
Ameen said that Gasim Ibrahim is a leader who is genuinely worried about the people and always gives precedence to the interest of the people over his own interests. He said that the people of Maldives know this from him.
