President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has inaugurated the tree planting project on the reclaimed land of the Second Phase of Hulhumale’ Land Reclamation Project.
The President and the cabinet ministers who participated in the event actively participated in the planting of trees.
In addition to this school children and many of the locals also participated in planting trees on the reclaimed land.
Moreover, a music show and fireworks were held following the event.
