Vilufushi MP Riyaz Rasheed has accused Tourism Minister Ahmed Adheeb of corruption.
In a tweet, Riyaz Rasheed stated that “Mahloof should be ashamed to talk of the corruption of Adheeb while Mahloof has taken 8 million Ruffiya from Adheeb.”
Many people say that if this is true then the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) should investigate how Adheeb got such a large amount of money in his possession.
Mahloof so far has been denying this claim that he took 5 million Ruffiya from a friend of Adheeb.
He said that he did not receive any money except for campaigns and he has taken no money from Adheeb.
