Adhaalath Party President, Sheikh Imran Abdulla said that if the government freezes the accounts of Villa Group it will be the worse decision taken by the government.
Sheikh Imran made this remark in a tweet he posted yesterday.
He said that the government is trying to enslave businessmen and investors to intimidate them. He said that this seems to be the economic policy of the current government that they have been boasting about in their rallies.
Sheikh Imran said that the government’s demand to take 90 million US dollars from Villa Group is an injustice and an oppression.
He said that the present government is in a state of murkiness and when the take one step forward they take three steps back.
“The non-hesitation of President Yameen to oppress the people is a big threat to the whole nation,” he said.
He said that the biggest tyranny of the government is giving the state wealth to Adheeb for him to misuse as he please.
