Deputy Leader of MDP, Mohamed Shifaz has said that the Jumhooree Party leader, Gasim Ibrahim is one of the most beloved and prolific leaders in the Maldives
He made this remark speaking at the “Maldivians against tyranny” rally held at Faafu Atoll Bilehdhoo last night.
Shifaz said that Gasim Ibrahim’s understanding and warmth towards the people of Maldives has made him the prolific and the modest figure Maldivians love.
He said that Gasim has the largest the most ethical company operating in Maldives with more than five thousand employees.
He said that the people cannot tolerate when the government oppressors such a beloved figure and philanthropist who is the only individual who provides most services to Maldivians.
In addition to this, Shifaz condemned the government for arresting and imprisoning former President Mohamed Nasheed for thirteen years and former Defence Minister for eleven years.
Furthermore, Shifaz said that the Mayday will be the day of justice. He appealed as many as people who can come to Male’ to come and participate in the event.
