President of the Adhaalath Party, Sheikh Imran Abdulla has said that the noble prophet of Islam consulted the people in matters where there was no revelation revealed to him by Allah.
Imran made this remark speaking at the “Maldivians against tyranny” rally held at Faafu Atoll Bilehdhoo last night.
“Who is the prophet? He is the master of mankind, the most beloved man to Allah, the best of Adam’s sons, the one whom revelation was sent upon, and he is the infallible, yet, and despite all these characteristics and privileges, he is ordered by Allah to consult his companions,” he said.
Sheikh Imran said that the current government does not want to listen to their people. He said that it is worrying and a big concern that President Yameen is giving a deaf ear to the calls of the seventy five percent of the citizenry to release former President Nasheed, Former Defence Minister Colonel Nazim and stop oppressing Gasim Ibrahim.
He appealed all those who are able from throughout the Maldives to participate in the mayday protest to be held in Male’ City on the first of May.
