Opposition alliance now known as the National Alliance has stated that more additional activities will be held as they prepare for a big rally against tyranny and oppression of the government.
MDP Parliamentary Group leader Ibrahim Mohamed Solih “Ibu” said that the third biggest rally of the opposition alliance will be held within this month.
Speaking at the press conference held at the Adhaalath Party office yesterday, he said that in addition to the big rally, the night protests will be continue and a meeting will be held on Thursday night which will be followed by a march on Friday evening.
The opposition stated that they will not back down from protesting against the oppression of the government. They said that they will stand against tyranny regardless whether the government arrests all their leaders.
The opposition noted that the government has one solution and that is to hold discussions and mutual consultation with them.
The opposition also stated that if the government does not want to hold discussions with the President of the Adhaalath Party, Sheikh Imran Abdulla then the government can choose whom to hold discussions with from the opposition leaders.
