Police Family Association has condemned the speeches instigating the people against Police and their families at rallies of Adhaalath and MDP.
In a press release of the association, they stated that such speeches is against the human rights of Police. They said that the Police are also human beings who are entitled to their human rights.
The association condemned the attacks on Police during the Friday night’s protest. They noted that seventeen officers were injured while two officers were seriously injured and one was taken abroad for medication.
Meanwhile, Miadhu Daily understands that the condition of the injured Police officers taken abroad have become better.
Local reports also say that the doctor from IGMH who did the check up on the allegedly seriously injured officers say that their injuries were not serious.
