Former Commissioner of Police, Kinbidhoo constituency MP Abdulla Riyaz has said that the name of a certain person is not the solution to the problems in Maldives today and it is not the solution that the people seek.
Jumhooree Party’s PG Group’s Deputy Leader Abdulla Riyaz said that the questions of the Police seemed like they wanted him to say a certain name.
He said that he give any answers that the Police were seeking as it will be the same as leaking classified information while he was the Commissioner of Police.
He said that the people are not seeking for a name but they want the reality of what really happened regarding cases such as the murder of Dr. Afrasheem Ali and the missing reporter.
