State Trading Organization (STO) has signed an agreement with Colombo Dockyard to supply a Tug boat and a barge to STO.
The agreement was signed by Managing Director Ahmed Shaheer on behalf of STO while Managing Director Ranil Wijuganavardana signed on behalf of Colombo Dockyard.
Shaheer said that the vessels brought to the company under this agreement will speed up the operations of STO.
The Managing Director of Colombo Dockyard stated that the company has arranged all preparations to supply the vessels as scheduled.
Colombo Dockyard PLC (CDPLC) is the largest and oldest ship building company in Sri Lanka and is based in Colombo. It has built both military and civilian vessels for both local and overseas clients.
