Executive Chairman of vTV, Ameen Ibrahim has resigned from office to devote more time to the nation.
Ameen filed his letter of resignation during a meeting held with the senior management of Vmedia on Saturday night.
According to reports, after his resignation, Ameen tweeted saying that he resigned "with deep regret" and that he would be devoting his time to the cause of bringing an end to oppression in the country.
After Ameen's resignation, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Vmedia Group, Mohamed Asif said that it was a "sad day for Vmedia" and that Ameen Ibrahim is an inspiration to many.
Ameen is among the front-line of the activities being organised by the opposition, in a bid to bring an end to oppression in the country.
