Prosecutor General Muhthaz Muhsin has said that the action will be taken against those who spread false information regarding the three powers of state.
Speaking to the press, Muhthaz said that the freedom of assembly and freedom of speech is granted by the constitution within the confines of Islamic Sharia. He said that spreading false information and calling for the overthrow of a constitutional government is not permissible in the Islamic Sharia.
Muhthaz said that such actions are violations of the constitution. “Spreading false information and trying to overthrow the government is against Islamic Sharia.”
Further he said that instigating the people against the security forces and the police is not lawful in any country.
“Such actions cannot be tolerated and they are regarded as terrorist acts in the law,” he said.
He said that such actions does not have anything to do with democracy despite them being perpetrated in the guise of democracy and freedom.
