Former Deputy Minister for Health Ministry ShidhathaShareef has stated that Maldives will enter the world records as the state with the largest number of terrorists.
Speaking in the rally held last night under the banner “Ending Injustice”, Shidhatha stated that even though the opposition had raised their voices against injustice and the Government had declared them terrorists, Maldivians would not accept such claims.
She stated that globally, people had not accepted the Government’s terror charges against former President Mohamed Nasheed and that this would be applicable for Jumhooree Party Deputy Leader Ameen Ibrahim, JP Council Member Sobah Rasheed and Adhaalath Party (AP) President Sheikh Imran Abdullah.
Shidhatha praised Sheikh Imran’s perseverance on rectifying the state of the country and called him a political leader. She added that Sheikh Imran had worked with no political allegiances and that he was a patriot.
She had also appealed all to join the efforts of the national movement for the future of the nation.
