Commissioner of Police Hussain Waheed has stated that the biggest investment that can be carried out is the development of human resources.
He made the statement speaking in the opening ceremony of the new wing of the Police shop.
Speaking in the ceremony, CP Waheed stated that the Police Cooperative Society (POLCO) was not just in charge of conducting a business but rather POLCO was also fundamental in creating Police who were capable and educated. CP Waheed stated that this was the biggest investment an organization can carry out.
He added that Police Shop was opened with a small investment, which had rapidly expanded since then. CP Waheed noted that the new wing of the Police Shop was an indication of this growth and thanked all who were part of this growth.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohamed Sodiq, Deputy Commissioner of Police Hassan Habeeb, senior officers, Board members and employees of POLCO and Police Welfare Cooperation (POLWEC) and other Police officer took part in the ceremony.
