Maldives Police Service (MPS) has launched investigations into the death of the 11 month old baby found in GaafDhaalThinadhoo, citing there were some doubts and concerns about the death.
Police Media official reported that the boy was dead even when he was brought to the hospital and a case was filed with the Police.
The official stated that there were no visible signs of injuries on the deceased baby’s body. However, he said that Police was looking into the case as there were some issues regarding the case. The case was reported to the Police yesterday around noon.
Police reported that they had taken samples from the body and that the body has been handed to the family.
