Islamic Ministry has announced that this Thursday will be the first of Ramadan.
The announcement was made in a ceremony held to mark the annual moon sighting to be observed before Ramadan. In the ceremony it was announced that today is the 30th of Shauban and therefore, Thursday would be the 1st of Ramadan.
The declaration was released by Islamic Minister Dr. Ahmed Ziyad Bagir.
