MDP Vice President and former MP for Baarashu Constituency, Ibrahim Shifaz has been arrested while he was taking part in a rally in MDP
headquarters located near Artificial Beach.
He was arrested last night, while he was addressing those who were in the headquarters.
Owners of the land on which the headquarters were built reported that the Police who arrested Shifaz had no court orders for his arrest.
In addition to Shifaz, other activists of the Party had also been arrested.
