Villa College to start UWE programs at a fraction of the cost
Villa College has opened up intake for students to study programs of University of the West of England, at a fraction of the cost of studying abroad. Speaking in a press conference held Sunday in Villa College, Rector Ahmed Anwar stated that looking at countries such as Malaysia, the average rates of such programs were around US $6,000 and US $8,000 annually.

However, Anwar stated that the program in Villa College would cost MVR 39,000, which is around US $2561.61 annually. Anwar also stated that this amount can be paid in eight installments.

Dr. Anward also said that the College was able to provide the programs at a lower cost due to the initiative of Villa College Chairman. As such, he noted that the last time the program fees were hiked by the providers, the College had compensated for the amount, without passing off the additional amount to the students.

Dr. Anwar said that the aim of the College was to provide quality education at a lower price.
