Indian Cultural Center has announced that India would announce and handover scholarships for 18 scholars out of the 41 scholarships forthe country.
The Center also reported that already six students had departed for their scholarship studies. The Center stated that the rest of the students would depart for their future studies soon.
India has been providing technical and training assistance for required areas in the Maldives.
The scholarships were awarded by Bengaluru University. The scholarships are fully funded, with the tickets, tuition fees and other allowances being compensated for by the Indian Government.
