India ready to assist efforts to curb spread of dengue
Indian High Commissioner to the Maldives Rajeev Shahare has stated that India stands in readiness to assist all efforts carried out by Maldivian government to curb the spread of dengue.
He made the statement speaking in the ceremony held yesterday morning in Dharubaaruge grounds to kick off the national campaign to curb the spread of mosquitos.
Shahare said that India had always prioritized the health sector of the Maldives and provide better quality health care to the citizens of Maldives.
“India has close cooperation with Maldives in the Health sector. My participation was in solidarity of the campaign for cleaning Maldives and against Dengue. India stands in readiness to support Maldives in this endeavour.”
