Opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) Parliamentary Group Leader Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has said that he hoped that the results of the discussions between the Government and MDP will be apparent in about two weeks.
Speaking to Press, Ibu said that both sides accepted that there were many issues and concerns that can be resolved by discussions. Due to this, Ibu stated that hopefully the discussions would be fruitful.
Ibu said that they will be presenting a proposal next Wednesday night to negotiate for easier conditions for those in jail.
Ibu also said that MDP will present the cases of four businesses that are currently facing issues. As such, the Party will raise the issue of 3A, Yatch Tours, Madoogali Resort and Villa Group.
