The Government has cancelled the discussions to be held with MDP regarding the current political situation.
President’s Spokesperson Ibrahim Muaz Ali tweeted that the third round of discussions with MDP was cancelled. He added that the discussions were cancelled as some of the participants of the discussions were not in town.
Home Minister Umar Naseer, the senior negotiator on the Government camp, has previously stated that he hoped that the discussion would be successful.
