 Condolence Book would be kept open in the High Commission of India
The High Commission of India announces with profound sorrow the death of Honourable Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India on 27 July 2015 at Bethany Hospital, Shillong. The State funeral will be held in Rameshwaram on 29 July 2015.

As a mark of respect to the departed dignitary the Government of India is observing seven days State mourning throughout India and Indian Missions/Posts abroad from 27 July 2015 to 02 August 2015.
A Condolence Book would be kept open in the High Commission of India, Male’ from 29 to 30 July 2015 from 1000 hrs to 1300 hrs for those who wish to pay their last respects to late President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
