Retakes not applicable in the test of life: Friday sermon
Last Friday’s sermon focused on the importance of using our lives as we are not given an additional chance to rectify our mistakes.

The sermon stated that in our examinations we can retake the said test if the results were poor. However, the sermon said that in the grand scheme of things, once we die, all possibilities of repentance were closed. As such the Day of Judgement was not a second chance.

The sermon added that the life we have now is the only practice run we have for the Day of Judgement and therefore, we must make the best use of that time.

The sermon noted that there were some who believed that there was no life after death and that everyone got the same ending in spite of their actions. The sermon refuted the claim stating that it was an ill founded belief.
