Hajj Corporation and Mega Maldives signs agreement to transport pilgrims
Hajj Corporation and Mega Maldives has signed agreements for the travel of pilgrims for this year’s Hajj.

Under the agreement which was signed on Thursday, Mega Maldives will conduct five flights for Hajj Corporation. The first of these flights will depart on August 28th, with the last flight departing on 31st of this month. The pilgrims are scheduled to return between 28th September and 1st October.

Out of the 2000 pilgrim quota set for Maldives, Hajj Corporation had been allotted 1300 pilgrims.

Hajj Corporation’s Managing Director Yameen Idhris signed the agreement on behalf of the Corporation, while Mega Maldives CEO George Leinmann signed the agreement for the airlines.

Flights of Mega Maldives were used by Hajj Corporation for last year’s pilgrimage, as well as for last Ramadan’s Umrah.
