Hajj Corporation has stated that the Corporation chose Mega Maldives as their travel partner for this year’s Hajj in order to give their pilgrims an easy trip.
Speaking to Miadhu News, Hajj Corporation’s Managing Director Yameen Idhris stated that Mega Maldives had scored the highest marks in the bid proposal. He added that travel route, time of travel and standard of cabin crew were taken into account. As such, Idhris said that Mega Maldives proposed a direct route to Jeddah and due to that the travel time was considerably less. He also noted that Mega Maldives crew was composed of locals, which prevents miscommunication as some of the passengers are not bilingual.
It has to be noted that Hajj Corporation is seeking to provide easy access and travel to pilgrims on one of the biggest journeys.
A total of 1,300 pilgrims are set to go to Hajj from the Hajj Corporation. They are to be sent to Mecca in five flights of Mega Maldives.
