President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom has stated that the aim of his Government was to fulfil pledges in a very short period of time.
He made the statement speaking in the ceremony to lay the foundation for Tree Top Investment Pvt. Ltd.’s 200-bed US$ 80 million tertiary hospital which is to be established in Hulhumalé.
President Yameen stated that there was no room for hesitation in the question of national development. He added that in the quest for national development we must have a vision and courage to change the nation. President Yameen said that this was the reason behind the amendments to the law.
President Yameen reiterated that the Government was fully supportive of the business ventures and will seek to introduce incentives. He added that difference of opinion should not be a bar for national progress.
