IGMH ceiling damaged in yesterday’s rains
Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has revealed that parts of the ceiling of the hospital was damaged in yesterday’s rains.

IGMH has issued an apology for the patients who had been inconvenienced due to this incident which had also occurred during the time the hospital was undergoing major renovation, funded by a US$ 10 million grant aid by the Indian Government. The hospital reported that they were currently seeking a permanent solution to the issue.

Many have noted that the renovation and the completion of the new wing of IGMH had taken a long time, even after the lease for the new wing had been issued 10 years ago.

President Yameen yesterday had stated that this Government prioritizes on resolving the issues faced by the hospital and developed the hospital.
