Hajj Group has stated that the Corporation will hold briefing sessions for pilgrims completing their Hajj with the Corporation.
The Corporation reported that the session will be held from the 16th to the 22nd of this month.
Speaking to Miadhu, Hajj Corporation stated that all the arrangements for the pilgrims in Saudi Arabia were completed and that the remaining preparations were only from the Corporation.
The Official stated that the briefing sessions were held to inform the pilgrims on the health, religious and travel related issues that may arise during the process. The Official also stated that the Hajj Kits issued by the Corporation will be distributed to all the pilgrims starting next Sunday.
Hajj Corporation had been given a quota of 888 persons for the Hajj this year. Along with the quota issued for Islamic Ministry, this year Hajj Corporation will take 1300 pilgrims to complete their Hajj. This is the largest contingent of pilgrims leaving Maldives so far. The pilgrims are set to depart on the 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st on Mega Maldives flights.
This year Saudi Arabia had increased the quota for Maldives to 2000 pilgrims.
