The Red and Green channel has been created in Ibrahim Nasir International Airport.
The channel was opened by Vice President Ahmed Adeeb Abdul Ghafoor.
Speaking in the ceremony MACL Managing Director Adil Moosa stated that only baggage designated to be checked will be checked and other baggage will not be checked. He added that with this measure users will have to spend minimal amount of time in the airport. He also stated that even though the airport was undergoing constant renovations, such services will be provided uninterrupted.
Adil added that a walkway was being built to connect domestic terminal and international terminal, which will facilitate easier access to the area. He also revealed that the issues facing domestic terminal will be soon resolved.
