Hajj Corporation has revealed that the visa processes for the pilgrims attending hajj from the Corporaiton will be completed today.
Speaking to Miadhu Hajj Corporation Managing Director Yameen Idhris stated that by the end of today, 1000 visas will be processed.
Saudi Arabia had sent an official to provide visas for Hajj. The process is being carried out in the Saudi embassy located in Hotel Jen, instead of Maldivian Foreign Ministry.
Yameen added that the information sessions for the pilgrims will also be concluded today and that this was the last of the preparations before the departure to Mecca.
Hajj Corporation will send 1300 pilgrims to Mecca, the largest amount in the history of the
corporation and in the nation. The Corporation is seeking ways to improve the service given to all the pilgrims. The first batch of pilgrims from the Corporation will be departing on 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st August and on 1st September.
