Dhiraagu Road Race 2015 has been concluded successfully, in spite of the light rain that occurred at the time.
Some of the participants said that the run had awareness on key issues facing the nation such as child abuse. They add that the run had shown how important the issue was. Many had thanked Dhiraagu for conducting such a run to raise awareness on the issue.
The run, held against child abuse, has been held annually and the number of foreigners taking part in the run has increased. As such this year individuals from 43 nations took part. Last year this figure was at 31 countries.
Runners from different age groups took part in the run. Over 3000 took part in this year’s run. Awards were given out to the participants after the run.
