Civil Court has decreed that the Tourism Ministry’s decision to nullify the agreement made with Gazeera Pvt Ltd on February 5th was against the terms of the Amended and Restated Lease Agreement.
In last Wednesday’s hearing of the case, Civil Court Judge Mohamed Haleem stated that the Ministry’s decision was against the terms of the agreement which was signed in 2013, December. The Court ruling also ordered Tourism Ministry to revert to the terms set in the lease agreement and to abide by it.
The agreement was cancelled after Tourism Ministry stated that Gazeera had acted against the terms of the agreement.
