Vice President Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Ghafoor has said that introducing “Smart City” technology in the Maldives was a sign that showed the country’s technological development.
He made this remark while speaking at the launching of “Smart City” technology in Male’ and Hulhumale, a service provided by Ooredoo Maldives for urban areas which use ICT solutions to address a wide range of issues. The function was held on Monday afternoon at Hotel Jen. Ooredoo Chairman Khalid Al Mahmood and CEO Vikram Singh attended the ceremony.
Ooredoo reported with this smart city initiative, the whole of Maldives can be fully linked and will benefit the whole of the country.
