President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom has stated that the Government will never waver over anonymous threatening messages.
He made the statement speaking in the opening ceremony of the B. Goidhoo PPM MDA Coalition office.
President Yameen said that the Government will prevent any measure taken by any person to intimidate and threat any citizen. He added that neither he nor the Government were worried about the message.
President Yameen added that the Government will work to the maximum to halt the terror acts. He also noted that under his Government, authorities have been successful in preventing crime due to the measures taken.
President Yameen also called on the office managers to disseminate proper and accurate information on the Government’s efforts to clarify the doubts created by such messages.
