Dhiraagu has unveiled 4G LTE Advanced services in the country for the first time.
Speaking to press in Seahouse Restaurant Thursday night, Dhiraagu Marketing and Communication Manager Mirshan Hassan stated that due to the LTE Advanced Network will give customers internet service at a speed twice faster.
Mirshan reported that the LTE Advanced Network will be available on the Dhiraagu mobile network. He added that this is the first time the service was introduced in Maldives and in South Asia and will facilitate easy access to the service. Customers will be able to enjoy speeds up to 300 MBps and customers will be able to access HD videos without delay. The service is currently available only in 45 countries.
Dhiraagu stated that the service will be expanded to more areas in the country and that customers do not need to subscribe to a package to enjoy the service.
