Chancellor of Maldives National University Dr. Mohamed Latheef has called on all to pursue employment instead of waiting for the perfect job.
Speaking in the graduation ceremony of the University’s chapter in Kulhudhuffushi, Dr. Latheef stated that number of students who got their dream job post graduation were very low. He said that in this case it was not acceptable that students do not get jobs and advised students not to follow that path.
He added that this situation was not unique to Maldives, but common world over.
Dr. Latheef added that President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom was working to ensure that all Maldivians were productive members of the workforce and said that this would be possible only if students applied for the jobs available.
