President Yameen has called on athletes to test his reward system by winning big in international sports competitions.
He made the statement in the “Sports Manifesto Yageen” event held in Dharubaaruge, Tuesday night.
He urged athletes to think beyond the bronze medal and to aim at the silver medal. President Yameen assured that the Govenrment will work tirelessly to ensure that the development of athletes was carried out.
President Yameen stressed that the Government wished to make the Maldivian athletes reach their potential best and that the athletes had to work to reach this goal.
