Home Ministry’s Deputy Minister Ahmed Saleem has stated that Maldivians have to be patriotic in order to face challenges faced by outside influences.
He made the statement speaking in the opening ceremony of the Funa activities held in M. Mulah for the Minivan 50 celebrations.
Saleem stated that tactics of war has changed overtime, with opposing figures relying on more covert methods using international platform to create negative perceptions to harm the independence of the nation. He added that the unity of the nation can only preserved with better connections between the citizens and noted that much work need to be carried out on that aspect.
