Kaashidhoo Member of Parliament, Faisal Naseem has provided free wifi to the MTCC ferries travelling to Kaashidhoo and Gaafaru ferries.
Speaking in the ceremony held in Vilingili ferry terminal Faisal stated that the service was provided with the assistance of Dhiraagu and added that Dhiraagu was chosen as the partner as the service provider was the largest service provider in the country.
Faisal said that the passengers have to spend a lot of time on travel due to the distances between the islands and Male’. He added that due to the service the customers will benefit and be able to use their travel time more efficiently.
Faisal noted that this is the first time the service was introduced to the country and customers may experience some difficulties accessing the service in the start. He appealed all to be patient if this occurs.
Speaking in the ceremony, Dhiraagu Marketing and Communications and Public Relations Mohamed Mirshan Hassan noted the various humanitarian work carried out by Faisal and his Foundation. He thanked Faisal for his decision to partner with Dhiraagu on the project. He assured that they will work to ensure uninterrupted service.
Dhiraagu Managing Deputy Managing Director, Commissioner of Police Rtd Ahmed Faseeh noted the various works carried out by the Foundation and added that this service will benefit the citizens.
