Prominent Muslim scholar Yasmeen Moghahed has stated that if a believer sticks to his faith and believe in God’s plan for the believer, then he will never be dismayed.
She made the statement speaking in the lecture held in Islamic Centre Thursday night. The lecture was part of the “The Message” initiative.
Yasmeen said that the destiny of a person had already been written and that one cannot avert it. She also said that it was duty of the person to have faith in what his destiny brings and not to despair in this world. She added that the believer will not despair, but rather seek to escape from any calamity, with patience and faith.
Yasmeen said that in this world, every person will be tested with challenges out of which many will not be things he desires. She also said that a person who fully believes in God, will seek to overcome the challenges without despairing over his condition.
