Former Islamic Minister Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has initiated a series of lectures and information sessions aimed at pilgrims designed to brief pilgrims on the procedures of the Hajj.
The series is conducted by Maldives Hajj Corporation in Mecca. Hajj Corporation’s Chairperson Dr. Aishath Muneeza is currently in Mecca.
When pilgrims embark on their journey to Mina, the trip is expected to last quite a while. In Mina, pilgrims will be stationed in tents, with limited access to bathroom facilities. Their stay in Arafat plains and trip to Muzdhalifa is also expected to be arduous.
Once pilgrims arrive back from Muzdhalifa, they will take part in the stoning ritual.
Hajj Corporation reported that it was essential that all pilgrims were equipped with the most up to date information and security measures in order to prevent issues and confusions.
