Maldivian pilgrims departs to Mina
Maldivian pilgrims have begun their trip to Mina.

Maldives Hajj Corporation’s Managing Director Yameen Idhris stated that the pilgrims observing the Hajj from the Corporation will be undertaking the trip on 28 buses. At the time of print, the pilgrims had already begun their journey.

It is expected that, if there are no issues, the pilgrims will reach Mina by early morning prayers. However, it is also possible that the journey may get delayed due to the heavy traffic.

Pilgrims are expected to reach Arafat on the eve of Hajj Day, with many pilgrims seeking to complete their morning prayers on the plains of Arafat. The pilgrims will next depart for Muzdhalifa after sunset in the day of Arafat. They will be in Mina on Hajj Day and will return to Mecca after the stoning ritual.

Some pilgrims have resorted to using their personal possessions in the stoning ritual but scholars have advised against it urging all pilgrims to use only stones.
