Maldives Police Service reported that they have appealed for assistance from FBI and Australia Federal Police to investigate the explosion aboard Presidential yatch, which occurred on Monday morning.
Speaking to press, MPS crime investigation command head, Chief Superintendent Hamdhoon Rasheed said that MPS and MNDF are currently investigation this serious incident. He assured that once the forensic process and investigation process were completed, details of the incident and investigation will be released to public.
He confirmed that three individuals had been treated in connection to the incident.
